On The Mark Technology - Alive and Kicking - September 29, 2004
Here is one of the reasons why I haven't blogged much lately: On The Mark Technology, my first voyage into the entreprenurial waters is now online at www.onthemarktech.com. I am now a "solutions company", providing "complete end-to-end solutions at an affordable price using the power of the Oracle database and a focus on building effective web based interfaces using lightweight, state-of-the-art web technologies." Sounds pretty good eh?
I've got an basic static web page posted (shamefully, it's a hacked up template from the CSS Zen Garden), and the Real Estate Broker Office (REBO) Manager application is slated for go-live on Friday.
I'm going to hack the template more when I have some time (so that I don't get accused of stealing it), and put together a basic CMS to make it dynamic, and updated periodically.
That's all assuming that the go-live on Friday goes ok. If not, then I may just be more buried than I am now.
Public Service Announcement - September 07, 2004
... but I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder, and Guilder to frame for it. I'm swamped!
I'm not dead. I just act like it on my website.
With out of town training next week, sprinklers to repair, a lawn to install before the rains come, a webserver to configure, and software to finish for my inaugural entrepreneurial implementation scheduled for 1-Oct, I'm not likely to post much here this month (or last month, or the one before that). So click on over to my blog roll and read something from somebody who posts more than I do.
Oh - and if you run across an eBay seller by the name of "somethingspecialjust4u" avoid them. Two weeks after winning the auction and accepting my payment moments after, I have not received the item. I'm trying to be patient - but the time for that is running out, and the "pissed off and vengeful" Mark is beginning to emerge.
